    Lowers the car 1" using stock leaf springs








    Moves rear leaf springs inside frame rails








    Allows use of wider rear wheels and tires

    Requires some cutting and welding (not narrowing) of rear frame








    This kit moves rear leaf springs inside frame rails and allows use of wider rear wheels and tires and if the rear inner wheel wells are moved inboard to the frame as well it allows you to install a wheel up to 12" wide with a 13" wide rear tire. Works on all body styles. This kit is weld-in and requires modification or removal of spare tire well and requires some cutting and welding (but not narrowing) of the rear frame.

    1955-1957 Chevy Belair 150, 210, Nomad, Rear Leaf Spring Relocation Pocket Kit, Basic This new basic rear leaf relocation kit includes front weld-in spring pockets, rear C-notch shackle plates, upper shackle hangers,and new shackles. Shackles have been re-designed to feature our high performance D-spec bushings, sleeves, and hardware. New upper shackle mounts are CNC formed for proper fitment and alignment with the frame. Lower shock plate tucks the shock up closer to the leaf spring. Rear pocket kits moves the spring in-line with the frame to gain 3.5" of additional clearance to allow the use of up to 10" wide wheels and with proper backspacing and about 12" tread to contact the pavement. The Complete kit includes everything included in the basic kit , plus u-bolts, nuts, lower shock plates and shock studs.
